Sweet Supernaturals
Merman Kisses and Starving Incubi (Book 1)
- The romance is MM, but there are orgy scenes of up to five guys together
- Abusive childhood (only detail into it is to share how a character got a scar)
- Mention of alcoholic parent. Said parent does not make an appearance
- Religious trauma
- Self-harm
- Mention of eating disorder. As in you’ll get an incubus eating disorder if you keep this up
- Mention of pray away the gay camp. As in if they had known they would have sent him to a pray away the gay camp
- A bit of jealousy, but it gets worked out
- Homophobia and sexual harassment from one of Chris’s clients. No slurs or any words get said. She gets what’s coming to her
- Sex work. Cam boys
- Overbearing chick friend, but not often… and I think I toned her down ha
Dating A Fae (short standalone novella story)
- Anxiety
- Death of a child (past off page, discussed)
Princes of Lane
Sea and Sky (Book 1)
- Forced drug used (past mentioned, present not on Rape (past mentioned, and present implied—you are never in the moment)
- Slavery
- Drowning
- Blood
- Stabbing
- Possibly gruesome transformation from merman to human
- Mental/physical/emotional abuse mentioned (Kyler talks about it, but we don’t dwell too long)
- Despite all this… it’s a really sweet story, like most of the things mentioned on this page we don’t stay with too long. I just want you to know up front we have some stuff going on.
Black Cat Circus
- Stalking
- Ignored safeword in the past resulting in a SA (off page, spoken about)
- Past child abuse
- Brighton accidentally hung himself trying to do an aerial trick as a kid (talked about, not in detail)
- Kidnapping
- Harm to animal/animal abuse (not detailed, animal is totally okay)
Farren (Pearl of Fate)
- None that we can come up with
Monster Match Series
Nightmare For Hire (part of an 8 book shared world collaboration, standalone PNR)
- Chapter 2 SA on page (Cyrus and a guy before they break up, Cyrus never says no, but it’s obvious he wants everything to stop. Plus, the other guy uses his mer seduction on him to keep him compliant)
- Abusive ex (verbal, physical, and sexual)
- Stalking
- PTSD
- Choked
- Bit
- Cyrus mentions he gets sad whenever one of the NICU babies passes (but no baby passes in this story)
- Vomiting
- Forced insanity
- Chapter 22 Cy talks about his past – childhood SA/trafficking, child abuse, nothing spoke of in too much detail.
Fortune Favors the Fae
Kisses at the Crossroads (Part of 15 book collaboration, all standalones)
- The fae is a captive and has been mentally, emotionally, and physically abused.
- A side character is also a captive with the same treatment, but has a little more freedom.
- NO SA takes place in this story. However, the Fae character thinks he’s been sold for sex at one point (the bad guy thinks that’s what’s gonna go down, but it’s not. It’s a trick. So rest assured there’s zero SA going on).
- Fae character talks about being a courtesan-in-training and that his training started at age three. Nothing sexual happens until they mature and since he was only fifteen when he was stolen, he never learned the sexual side of being a courtesan. He’s trained to entertain by being smart in politics, music, dance, and games.
- Demon side character has a bit of a drinking problem.
- Chapter 2 starts with the demon washing off blood and guts after he helps his friend fulfill a crossroads deal. Also mentions ripping a guy’s head off. Nothing goes into much detail.
- Chapter 3 there is a scene where the bad guy de-fangs the captive side character and throws the fangs at Lark. The de-fanging is not shown, only the fangs being thrown. (And some blood).
- Chapter towards the end has nonconsensual blood drinking (vampire). Vamp gets disposed of off page (a character mentions how he offs the bad guy, but we don’t see it on page).
- Touch of exhibitionism in the epilogue, but they don’t really have an audience. They’re just doing it in a meadow where someone might fly in and see them, but they risk it anyway.
Tales From The Tarot
- There is mention of Gabe doing pot in his younger years. Just a mention.
- Van implies one of the people that summoned him was SA’d and wanted justice, which he gave to her.
- Gabe gets sick and vomits.
Cauldrons and Kissses
- Magical poison used on Ethan. He has an allergic reaction.
- Wick still sorta has a drinking problem in the beginning.
- This is a little higher angst I think? But it’s still fluffy fluff.
- Daddy kink is obvious by the title, but just incase it’s not… this is Daddy/boy, NO ABDL. Daddy is a top, boy is a side, they have no problems with this dynamic.
- Death of parents (off page, in the past)
- Scars
- A bit of anxiety
- A past sexual encounter that Rory begrudgingly consented to despite being a side.
- Situation with a business partner of side character that leads to a mess to clean up.
Santa’s Naughty Workshop
Jingle My Bells (Book 1)
- Destruction of home. It’s off page, but does bring a bit of trauma to Snow’s life.
- My guys have kinda depressing backstories, so abandonment issues.
- Dylan is a cis male, but changed his name for personal reasons. His parent given name is never said, but Snow does ask him why he chose Dylan. The question doesn’t bother Dylan.
Wrap Me Up (Book 2)
- Brief mention of blood (Tinsel keeps getting distracted and jabbing his fingers with needles when he’s working)
- Tinsel is a trans man that has a hot second of insecurity with his body before getting intimate, but Noel makes him feel amazing
- Overworking to where Tinsel forgets to do anything else (again, Noel helps him pretty quickly)
- They drink alcohol for one chapter and get a little drunk
Naughty or Nice (Book 3, coming Christmas 2024 Postponed)
Merry Elf-Mas
Jingle (part of 5 book collaboration, standalone contemporary)
- None that we can come up with. Perhaps a hot second of car trouble?
Christmas Omegas
His Patient Alpha (part of a 10 book collaboration, standalone PNR omegaverse, NO MPREG in my book, though it is possible in my world)
- A super hot second of miscommunication from their youth. It gets cleared up so fast, though.
- Talks of using a drug to simulate a heat in alphas
- Death of parents (off page, in the past, accident, no details given)
- Body image problems in the omega’s youth mentioned
- Medical examination
- Talks of being infertile (also wanting to be infertile because the omega does not want children)
- Mention of omega not keeping as much food in his pantry as he should (he gets distracted and forgets to order food, this is not a deliberate eating disorder, however it can be viewed as disordered eating)
- Omega is practically a shut-in after an incident in his teen years
- Kinda insta-love
Santa’s Naughty Elf Mates (MPREG)
Naughty Elf: Alfie (part of a collaboration, but stands alone)
- None that I could come up with.
